Followers of my "History of England in STOEMS®" will recognise the name of this King "William of Orange"

One wonders however if the locals were having a joke when one looks more closely at the statue, surely he wasnt as orange as this (perhaps they had fake tan back in those days too?) and he certainly would not have had such a cartoon like face.

We had a soft drink advert and this statue reminds me of it, "You know when you have been tangoed" ("Tango" was an orange fizzy drink),.

There is much much more to Brixham than its Harbour, but when we visited it was raining and most of the shops were closed, so on this occassion we only wondered around the harbour.
